Design Trilogy is the creative collaboration of three sisters-
Francene Bekker, Liana Els-Bull, and Joleen Buys-
who have made their mark in the design world through their expertise in
Graphic Design, Architecture, and Interior Design.
Together, we offer a seamless, multidisciplinary approach
that brings our clients’ visions to life.
Growing up in an artistically rich environment with an architect father and a creative mother, our passion for design was ignited at an early age.
Our journey began at the renowned Pro Arte Art School and continued at the University of Pretoria, where we honed our individual skills.
Francene has earned recognition for her award-winning label and packaging designs, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Liana and Joleen recently received the prestigious PIA Award for Architecture for their work on a commercial refurbishment project.
As a team, we are committed to pushing creative boundaries, blending innovation with functionality to deliver exceptional design solutions. At Design Trilogy, our shared vision and passion drive us to craft spaces and visuals that inspire.

Liana is an award-winning architect with 25 years of experience across commercial, residential, hospitality, and industrial projects. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Pretoria in 2000 and has since been dedicated to shaping the built environment with thoughtful, innovative design. Passionate about her profession, she is also committed to mentoring future architects through part-time lecturing and serving as an external examiner at various universities.

Joleen is a dedicated Interior Designer who graduated with honors in Interior Architecture from the University of Pretoria. With a portfolio that includes award-winning hospitality projects, as well as commercial and residential designs, she brings a refined approach to creating functional and inspiring spaces.
